Meet our Sweetie

Meet the newest (and perhaps the cutest) member of the Balance Hair Spa team! Her name is Sweetie Darling and she is a mere 13 weeks old. She is a purebred Boston Terrier puppy and prefers to be called just "Sweetie" (following in the steps of the great Cher and Madonna).

Thomas and Biff adopted Sweetie last week from a Lancaster County breeder.

"She was the smallest and the quietest of her brothers and sisters. We fell in love with her instantly," says Biff.

Sweetie is a playful pup with a calm, gentle and loving disposition.

Most days, you can catch a glimpse of Sweetie at Balance Hair Spa. She likes to sleep in her bed and visit with our guests between her hours of beauty sleep. Welcome Sweetie!

Toys for Toys is back at Balance Hair Spa

Support our community’s Toys for Tots campaign by donating a new, unwrapped toy at Balance Hair Spa. Help us fill our donation box!

Visit Chester County's local Toys for Tots website or donate online.

Not sure which toys are needed?  Here's a few tips from our local Toys for Tots Coordinator:

0 to 2 Years Infant Group
Usually have a large abundance of toys donated for this group.

3 to 7 Years Group
Always have a large abundance of toys donated, as this is the easiest group to buy for.

8 to 12 Years Group
One of our tougher groups during the collection times. This age group may be harder to buy for.  Games, arts and crafts, books and sports balls are all good for this group.

12 to 14 Years Group
This group can be extremely tough to buy things for, so donations here may be needed most. Though age-appropriate toys are expensive or tough to find, things like arts and crafts, watches, bath sets, cosmetics, books and backpacks are good things for this group.

Hurry in! Toy drop-off ends on Friday, December 10, 2010.

Exton, Pennsylvania, November 14, 2009 — With the arrival of the 2009 holiday season, Balance Hair Spa is teaming up with the U.S. Marine Corps to give back to the community it serves with its annual Toys for Tots drive. This year, with your help, Balance Hair Spa hopes to collect hundreds of toys benefiting the less fortunate members of our community, particularly during this holiday season.

Unfortunately during the holiday season, underprivileged children feel left out and wonder if they will experience the joy of Christmas. Participating in the toy drive gives Balance Hair Spa the opportunity to make a difference and help bring happiness to many disadvantaged children in the local area this Christmas. You can MAKE A DIFFERENCE by donating!

Bring a new, unwrapped toy(s) to your appointment from November 14 through December 15, 2009.

In 2008, Marines distributed gifts to 7.6 million children in over 620 communities nationwide. Locally, the Chester County unit of Toys for Tots delivered toys to over 5,500 needy children!

Toys for Tots, the U.S. Marine Corps' premier community action program and one of the nation's flagship Christmas charitable causes, is dedicated to "delivering a message of hope and bringing the joy of Christmas" to America's needy children. By uniting members of local communities in a common cause for three months each year during the annual toy collection and distribution campaign, Toys for Tots plays an active role in the development of one of the nation's most valuable natural resources -- our children -- thereby contributing to better communities in the future.

Balance Hair Spa invites you to share in the holiday spirit by donating new, unwrapped toys from November 14 through December 15, 2009. Toys can be dropped off at Balance Hair Spa in Eagleview’s Town Center at 545 Wellington Square, Exton, PA 19341 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday and Thursday, 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Friday and 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Saturday.
