Privacy
We do not share your information with outside vendors. All of your personal information is saved securely in our SalonBiz program and is not available for public viewing. All credit card information saved in your system is secure and not available to view from our system. (Credit card numbers are masked for your security.)

Online Booking
You will need to place a credit card on file to use our online booking.

Cancellation Policy:  
Because our team of beauty professionals are commission based, we want to make sure that time away from their homes & families is worth it emotionally & financially. Our policies are in place to help guide us during difficult situations so that our team can have more balance in their lives and achieve their own financial goals. Please know that 100% of a cancellation fee goes to your scheduled service provider. A cancellation fee is 50% of the total amount of your scheduled services.

·       A valid credit card number is required for new clients or existing clients with 2 previous violations to reserve your appointment. We understand that cancelations are sometimes unavoidable. circumstances come up that may require you to change your schedule. We kindly ask that you give us 48 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. 

·       Failure to show for your scheduled appointment and any cancellations with less than 48-hours of notice are subject to a cancellation fee based on scheduled services. 
Any deposits made in advance will be used towards the cancelation fee.

·       Cancellations and “no shows” leave gaps in our schedules and cannot always be filled without timely notice. A 48-hour notice enables us time to reach out and schedule another client who may be on our wait list for an appointment.

·       Due to commitments of other clients’ on our schedules, we may have to reschedule any appointment for which you are more than 15 minutes late. 

·       If you arrive late by 15 minutes of your scheduled appointment or more, you are subject to cancelling/rescheduling your appointment and may be charged a cancellation fee based on your scheduled services. Please understand that this is to ensure that every client receives the appropriate time for their hair services. It is possible that late arrivals can still be accommodated, however, this is done at our discretion based on the availability of our stylist’s schedules and your particular services. Please call or email the salon if you are running late so that we can do our best to accommodate you.

Cancellation Policy for Texture services & Extension services:
Due to the time that is required to prepare and perform these services we require the following.

·       A deposit is required to reserve an appointment for keratin treatments, perms, & extensions.

·       Balance Hair Spa adheres to a 4 day cancellation policy for services with a deposit. This is due to the amount of time blocked out on our schedules for these services.

·       Call us at (484)872-8457 if you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment. Failure to show up for your scheduled appointment or any cancelation with less that 4 days notice are subject to a cancelation fee.

·       Hair Extensions: Any changes in appointment must be made 4 business days prior to the scheduled appointment.

·       Once the deposit is received and the hair is ordered, the deposit is no longer refundable.

Cancellation Fees: If a client does not give proper notice or does NOT show for their scheduled appointment they will be charged a cancellation fee using the credit card on file under their account. Cancellation fees are 50% of what the scheduled services would have cost. Your service provider receives 100% of the cancellation fee. If a client has made a deposit for their service, that deposit would be used for your cancellation fee.

Appointments
Please help us by being on time for your appointment. Our scheduling is designed to permit the maximum time needed. For your convenience, we recommend that our guests schedule their next appointments prior to leaving.

Late Arrival
If you arrive late by 15 minutes of your scheduled appointment or more, you are subject to cancelling/rescheduling your appointment and will be charged a cancellation fee based on your scheduled services. Please understand that this is to ensure that every client receives the appropriate time for their hair services. Payment
We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, cash, checks, and Balance Hair Spa Gift Cards. We cannot add gratuities to credit card or debit card transactions in our system.

Gratuities
Gratuities are not included in the price of any services. We accept tips on behalf of our staff in the form of cash or personal checks only. (Gratuities may not be added to credit cards in our system.) You may also use our Tippy service to leave a tip on your credit card for your service provider. There is a kiosk at the front desk or you can use the link from our website.

Choice of Stylist
Balance Hair Spa provides artists at every level to best suit our guests’ needs and budgets. Our Salon Team works on a four-level system that measures experience, education and years of dedication. Levels are comprised of Directors, Executive Designers, Designers and New Talent.

Those at higher levels are more often educators or teachers, as well as stylists. However, all of our artists maintain a high level of industry training, giving you the opportunity to receive the latest breakthroughs in coloring, cutting, curl retexturizing and treatments.

We understand that it can be refreshing to have a change in style or point-of-view from time to time. If you feel like you need a change in your stylist, please do so freely or ask our Salon Coordinator for a recommendation. We work as a team and want each guest to feel comfortable with his or her choice of stylist at Balance Hair Spa.

Range of Salon Costs
Prices are determined individually by level of your stylist, as well as the length and thickness of your hair.

Gift Cards & Instant Gift Cards
Our Gift Cards are a wonderful way to give the gift of health, relaxation and beauty to the special people in your life. Gift cards can be purchased at the front desk or online and may be redeemed for products or services. Online gift cards can be sent directly through email.

Cellular Phones & Audio Devices
As a courtesy to all guests, we ask that you silence or turn off your cell phone and audio devices while at Balance Hair Spa.

Wi-Fi
We offer complimentary Wi-Fi access for our guests. Please use headphones or silence your laptop or mobile device.

Refreshments
Our refreshment bar is always open with an array of drinks, such as gourmet tea, coffee, wine and filtered water. It is a perfect way to relax before, during or after your service. This complimentary service is offered to every guest.

Children
We love and welcome all children, however, we ask that children without appointments remain clear of the Salon or Spa service areas and be chaperoned by another parent or guardian. Please supply headphones for all children’s audio devices.

Returns
We stand behind all of our products and services. If you are not happy with a product you are allowed to return it for a refund or use the total towards a different product. We ask that clients refrain from returning products that are over 90 days from the date of purchase.
Our team is dedicated to make sure that you are happy with your services. If you are not satisfied with your services please let us know as soon as possible. We ask that you return to have your stylist or one of our beauty professionals look at your concern and establish what can be done to make it right. Our team will work together to come up with a solution.
