Balance Hair Spa is a proud sponsor of the 8th Annual Mommy’s Light Race for Traditions charity event.

For the past four years, we have proudly supported Mommy's Light, a children's charity that is near and dear to our hearts. This wonderful organization helps bereaved children who have lost their mothers by continuing cherished family traditions and providing bereavement support. The annual Mommy's Light 5K & 1 Mile Fun Race is one of the charity's largest events, and Balance Hair Spa is bronze-level sponsor again.

How can you help?

  • At your next appointment, purchase a "Heart for Mommy" for as little as a $1 donation.  Fill out your card "In Honor of" a family member, friend or loved one, or "In Memory of" a special person who has passed. We will display all of the cards in our salon. Please help us reach our goal of 100 Hearts for Mommy cards!
  • Join us for the 8th Annual Mommy's Light 5K & 1 Mile Race on Saturday, April 28, in Eagleview Town Center, Exton.  Bring your whole family to this fun event!  In addition to the 5K Run/Walk, there is a 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk, a Stroller Start, Tot Trot (ages 2-5), and fun children's events, such as free ice cream for children from an old-fashioned ice cream truck.  Last year, there were over 700 participants! Preregister for the race at Active.com or mail-in preregistration form [pdf].
