We are excited to announce our New Talent level stylist, Camberly Riehl to the Balance Hair Spa team. She will be working out of both our locations with a limited schedule to accommodate our social distancing guidelines. You can make an appointment in Exton on Tuesdays from 9am to 4pm and in our West Chester Studio location on Saturdays from 10am to 3pm.

Camberly has been doing hair for a few years as a graduate of the Pulse Beauty Academy and is excited to join our team at Balance.

We offer parking vouchers for the Chestnut Street parking garage. The garage is only a short walk from the salon. Give yourself an extra 5 minutes before your appointment to park.

 We are excited to get the greenlight for our re-opening. It’s been over three months since we last saw each of you, so we understand the need to get in to see us. This week our team of beauty professionals will begin reaching out to their clients, clients with pre-booked appointments, and clients with missed appointments. On July 6th we will open up our online booking feature and announce our new app that will help us with online booking, appointment check in, and touchless checkout for our clients. 

As we begin to re-open, we need to share with you some of our new changes and guidelines. These changes are in place to help us all stay safe and to help us stay open during these new times.

Our team have been getting ready for a reopen date by getting these important certifications. 

Dermalogica Clean Touch Certification: An in depth training on proper protocols for services requiring touch. Reviewing what a service provider is expected to do with every client to guarantee a clean and safe service. Going over how to maintain a clean work space and tools. 

Barbicide Certification: Reviewing how all Barbicide cleaning products work and how to use them properly. Learning about the difference between sanitizing and disinfecting products and how to use them at our stations on surfaces and tools. 

Barbicide Covid-19 Certification: In depth review on how a virus can spread. Going over proper ways of preventing the spread of a virus within a work space. Learning how to communicate new safety precautions with our guests. New guidlines for safe physical distancing within a salon.

BHS temporarily Closed due to COVID-19

Due to the severity of the COVID-19 virus we have decided to follow the direction of Governor Wolf and temporarily close our doors. Next weekend we will reassess the situation and make further decisions.
If you have an appointment scheduled this week, we will be reaching out to you to reschedule the week of March 29th. We will also be proactive and reach out to clients who have appointments next week to reschedule in case of a 2 week closing. 
It's very disappointing to have to close, but as a place where we work with our hands and gather together we feel that it is the right thing to do. We hope that our clients understand this decision and will continue to support our business and team of beauty professionals as we make it through this difficult time.

Paige Galanti is now a New Talent Designer at Balance Hair Spa

We are happy to announce that after years of assisting our designers at Balance Hair Spa, Paige is now taking clients and building her book as a New Talent stylist in our Exton location. Paige is a licensed cosmetologist who has attended all of our in salon color classes and workshops, keeping her up to date an all the latest trends in hair color, cutting, and styling. She has also attended many workshops, classes, and shows outside of the salon expanding her knowledge as a cosmetologist. She has completed the Wella Professionals New Talent Program. A series of classes that gave her key information for the full Wella Professionals Portfolio of color lines.

She is excited to share her knowledge of hair with you, your friends, and family. Everyone loves her personality and so will you. You can make an appointment with Paige on Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

Because of this we decided to continue our drive and support a local organization. Help us support those who are less fortunate by bringing a new unwrapped toy from now until December 14th. These toys along with our annual 50/50 raffle at our Holiday Open House will benefit Friends Association for Care & Protection of Children. We are excited to announce our new ONLINE BOOKING feature that allows you to reserve your appointment directly from your device. Perfect for clients who are always on the go and don’t have time to call or email an appointment request or require last minute appointments. Because this new feature directly places your appointment on each stylist’s schedule, We are not offering it for color or re-texturizing services due to the difference of times required for each individual client. We hope that in the future we can have this feature for all of our services.

When using our new online booking, please read each step carefully. All clients will have to set up a client file with this new feature. Once your client file is set up you will be able to log in with the same device without entering more information for future appointments.
