Open Letter from BHS Owners Biff & Thomas

To our loyal clients,

    BHS owners, Biff & Thomas, want to thank you for supporting our business and our team of beauty professionals over our 16th year in business. As we enter 2024, we are humble to have clients who have become loyal to our business, sending us friends and family, and helping us grow. Over 16 years ago we made our mission statement as a guide for how we want to run our business. We work every day to achieve the goal of following our mission statement.

“To provide a place where beauty, wellness, comfort, knowledge, and personalized attention are combined to create a totally memorable and rejuvenating experience. We build enduring and rewarding relationships with our staff, clients, and community. Offering products and services that bring more balance into your life.”

     As we grow, we have utilized all the tools possible to make it easier for you and our team, including our online booking and pocket salon app. Clients love the freedom and ability to make their own appointments as they need and see their own salon history. With this new way of booking, we have also had the misfortune of having those who abuse it. Mostly new clients or bots that make appointments at multiple salons in our area until the ideal one is found. Unfortunately, these new appointments don’t get canceled when they find a better time slot elsewhere, leaving us with open times on our books. Because our beauty professionals are commission based, we have implemented a new system that requires all clients to have a credit card on file with the cancelation policy that charges a 50% cancellation fee that is paid to the stylist for their time.

     We understand that most of our clients do not abuse the system and show up for their appointments. We also understand that even our best clients get sick or have emergencies that require them to change their appointment last minute. Because of this we are making some updates to our policy. If you are a regular client with over 5 appointments within the last year, we are willing to understand these last minute changes. Only after 3 cancelations or no shows will we utilize the cancellation policy for our regular clients.

   Our goal is to continue to bring you the best services the best way possible at the best value for you. This year we have several new stylists at Balance Hair Spa at our new talent level and our esthetician has been working hard at re-vamping our facial services. We invite you and your family to discover their talents along with the rest of our team of beauty professionals as we help them grow their books.
