Our promise to you is as it has always been since we opened our doors 17 years ago.

A majority of our team at Balance Hair Spa have been with us for most of our 17 years in business. Many of our team members, some with families and children of their own, are working at their full capacity or on a very tight schedule. For those team members, it can be difficult, frustrating, and at times impossible to find more time to accommodate more clients. Not only that but just like you and the running of your household, everything around us edges up. The cost of doing business seems to increase every day as well.
A price increase is a difficult hurdle to overcome. For those designers who are pre-booked at that level, the only way for them to bring home more money is to charge more for their services or time. Please understand that a price increase is much more than another price raise. It means that we are determined to be here for you. We are dedicated to delivering exactly what we promised when we opened in 2007. This shows you that we will not skimp or cut corners to make it happen. We will continue to deliver the best to the best. Thank you in advance for your understanding and for you supporting and embracing our company.
Instead of a companywide price increase we have decided to restructure our level system to highlight our price ranges accordingly. We have a team of beauty professionals from all levels of education and experience. Our pricing varies for each hair designer. Our younger or less experienced stylists work on our base prices and gradually raise their prices as needed. Our more experienced designers have the freedom to set their own prices base on their own schedule, needs, and demand.
To make it easier for our clients we have a level system in place based on the following criteria.
· Level of education as a beauty professional.
· Experience working behind the chair as a beauty professional.
· Retention of existing clients.
· Percentage of open or available appointments.
Our Level system
New Talent – Less than 40% booked and less than 4 years in the industry on a limited schedule.
Level 1 – Less than 50% booked or under 5 years in the industry.
Level 2 – Over 50% booked or Over 5 years in the industry
Level 3 – Over 60% booked or individual achievements within the industry.
Level 4 – Over 85% booked or individual achievements within the industry. (Pricing based on demand)
Level 5 (Executive Designer) – Over 90% booked, extended education level, Client prebook rate, retention rates, and percentage of open appointments. (Pricing based on demand)
*Pricing within these levels may vary based on individual achievements, certifications, or extended education of the hair designer.
Our online system will always present our starting prices when making an appointment. Our front desk hosts can also give you starting prices for each stylist.
