Bio for Kara Dry, Designer

Kara began working in the beauty industry her freshman year in high school helping assist in a Chester Springs salon before moving to Tampa. While in Tampa, Kara begged to work for a highly admired stylist and salon owner who became her mentor over the years. While working for her mentor, Elaine, Kara became trained in the art of hair cutting and coloring often attending classes at the local AVEDA Institute. Elaine was a very strict leader and educator who has instilled in Kara the importance of a good work ethic and timing.

To this day Kara prides herself as being a stylist who is punctual and understands the importance of your time. Now with a child of her own, she fully understands how important time is for a mother or business person who try to fit so much into your day.

“Now that I have my son, I really understand how precious time is. My client’s time is just as precious and I will not take that for granted.”

Here at Balance Hair Spa, Kara loves to focus on giving her clients a good experience that always includes a great finish and blow out. She loves all hair color but specializes in deep and rich brunettes.
