Biff Piner, Owner and Salon Coordinator

Biff Piner is the proud Owner and Salon Coordinator of Balance Hair Spa.

He is also a professional Club Dj who has been spinning in clubs all around the country for over 30 years. He was also a music and club reporter for The Southern Voice, Window Media, and Billboard Magazine for 20 years before opening Balance Hair Spa in 2007. Today he mostly plays at bars in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. Music is part of his DNA. His love for all music is relevant as he hand selects each song played in the salon.

Biff has also suffered from severe psoriasis his entire life. "Because of my psoriasis, I have always been very cautious about what products I use on my skin and hair. While working as a DJ and traveling around the country doing gigs I was always aware of my skin and how it would react to new products and enviroments."

Over the years Biff has always had his foot in the skin care industry, starting as a retail manager for Aveda and again with Origins, Both natural based product lines. His work with these Estee Lauder brands taught Biff how to better understand the labeling of products in the cosmetic industry. He is the go to person at our salon when it comes to products and product ingredients.

After many years working as a DJ and retail manager Biff decided that it was time to settle down. That is when he and Thomas moved out to the suburbs of Philadelphia to open Balance Hair Spa.

"We work very hard at finding only the best products as well as the best staff at our business."

As Salon Coordinator Biff makes sure that every member of our team is up-to-date on all the latest trends in hair and skin care. He is always looking for new classes and seminars that our team can attend. Balance Hair Spa has the best team of beauty professionals assembled in Chester County.

“At Balance Hair Spa we want our clients to know that this is our passion. We believe in our products and our staff. I make sure that everyone at our salon and spa are fully trained to the best of their ability.”
