Balance Hair Spa raises money for Salon & Spa Relief Fund

This month we are raising money for The Salon & Spa Relief Fund. This non-profit organization was established in 2005 to help salon & spa owners, and their employees rebuild after a natural disaster. After the string of hurricanes that have hit our country recently, we are wanting to help others in our industry who may have lost everything. 
There are two ways you can help us raise money. You can make a donation in our salon and receive a complimentary hand massage with one of our team members using the AVEDA Hand Relief or you can visit the site below and make an online donation.

It's our 10th Anniversary

It's hard to believe that we have been in business for ten years now. Balance Hair Spa started in the Eagleview Town Center in July of 2007. With 3 stylists and 1 esthetician we grew quickly. Within only 3 years we had to move to our current location on Pottstown Pike to accommodate our clients. We were lucky to find this location before anyone else, so we helped design it from the ground up.

On Sunday April 23rd our team of beauty professionals donated their time to style hair and do make up for 10 cancer survivors and their daughters for the Unite For HER's annual Bloom Fashion Show. The show this year was held at the Merion Gulf Club. We were very happy to help bring some pampering to these women for their courage.

On Sunday March 5th and Monday March 6th, our team of beauty professionals attended the Mid-Atlantic Fashion Focus Hair Show in Washington D.C. at the National Harbor. This show is one of the largest shows on the East Coast. We spent our days attending workshops and classrooms with the leading hair stylists, motivational speakers, and product educators. Our team soaked up a ton of knowledge and motivation and are excited to share it with you. We even picked up some new products, that you will see in the salons in the next few days and weeks.

On Monday January 30th the Balance Hair Spa team of beauty professionals welcomed famed color expert and top Wella colorist Mark Debolt to our salon for a hands on class. He spent an entire day going over all the latest trends in hair color and techniques for color corrections. Our team were able to work with Mark and discuss advanced color concerns and formulas.

The Balance Hair Spa Holiday Open House was a huge success. Clients enjoyed fresh hors d'oeuvres by Chefeast, seasonal cocktails hand made by the owners Biff & Thomas, and 20% off all products and gift cards. The photo booth and red carpet were a hit too.

On Monday July 25th the Balance Hair Spa team were trained on how to use Ardell lashes. Ardell is one of the most widely recognized names in faux lashes by catering not just to women looking to enhance their own beauty, but also to legions of beauty professionals and Hollywood makeup artists. Our team of beauty professionals learned how to pick out a shape and trim lashes for every face and eye shape. They also trained on semi-permanent lash extensions which can last up to two weeks or longer.

On Monday July 18th the Balance Hair Spa team of beauty professionals were trained on the Peter Coppola keratin smoothing treatment. what makes this treatment different than others is that it doesn't contains harsh chemicals like aldehydes as preservatives. Aldehydes are commonly used in keratin treatments as a preservative. People with allergies or health concerns are instructed to stay clear of aldehydes for their toxic fumes when used with flat irons. Peter Coppola keratin smoothing treatments are the safest we can find on the market. The results are longer lasting while still remaining safe for both stylists and client to use.      Geno is one of only 21 other individuals to be inducted into the North American Hairstyling Awards Hall of Leaders. His positive energy and outlook on life is infectious.
