Balance Hair Spa raises money for Salon & Spa Relief Fund

This month we are raising money for The Salon & Spa Relief Fund. This non-profit organization was established in 2005 to help salon & spa owners, and their employees rebuild after a natural disaster. After the string of hurricanes that have hit our country recently, we are wanting to help others in our industry who may have lost everything.
There are two ways you can help us raise money. You can make a donation in our salon and receive a complimentary hand massage with one of our team members using the AVEDA Hand Relief or you can visit the site below and make an online donation.
Thank you for anything you can do to help.

It's our 10th Anniversary

It's hard to believe that we have been in business for ten years now. Balance Hair Spa started in the Eagleview Town Center in July of 2007. With 3 stylists and 1 esthetician we grew quickly. Within only 3 years we had to move to our current location on Pottstown Pike to accommodate our clients. We were lucky to find this location before anyone else, so we helped design it from the ground up.

Here are some pictures of construction of our current location on Pottstown Pike.

Darlene & Jen become Master Color Experts

We are excited to announce that two of our hair designers are now Master Color Experts.

Jen Sanchez and Darlene Firlein have completed a years worth of programs and education at the Wella World Studio in New York City. This is an extremely elite program that only a few hundred stylists worldwide have been able to complete. Even before entering this program stylist must first complete 5 years of courses that range from color formulation, color application, color foiling, color correction, and creative color. The Master Color Expert program requires stylists to explore psychology, hair diagnosis, chemistry, physics, and presentation skills. This is a highly prestigious achievement. Our team is thrilled to have such talented hair designers working with us. Jen & Darlene plan on sharing this knowledge with our team and in turn helping our clients have the best team of hair color experts around.

Candy Coat Beauty makes waxing sweet!!

Candy Coat Beauty makes waxing sweet!!

Candy Coat Beauty is yummy small batch depilatory waxes for safe and effective hair removal. Candy Coat Beauty was born out of the art of candy making and the relentless pursuit for the perfect hard wax that was low temperature, didn't stick to the skin, would shrink wrap hair to ensure little to no breakage and wasn't made from ingredients that couldn't be pronounced! These waxes are made from natural ingredients like bee's wax, cocoa, and pure essential oils and can deliver customized results for brows, Brazilians, and everywhere in between, ensuring a soothing experience each and every time for your skin.
