"This was my second visit to Balance and I must tell you it's my local oasis. From the moment one steps foot inside, you are embraced with positive energy. You are greeted, feeling instantly welcome, by not only the staff but the atmosphere as well. My stylist is Siobhann, an artist to say the least. I have fine/thin hair that is not easy to style but Siobhann took on the challange with ease. My hair has never looked or felt better. She listens, explains and suggests in a caring, trusting manner that helps one to completely relax and enjoy the experience."

"I was most impressed with the atmosphere, everyone is upbeat, friendly and welcoming. The apa is not only clean, it smells nice which in my experience is unusual given that many hair products have a strong unpleasant odor. Megan is absolutely adorable and her focus was to give me exactly what I wanted, the thing is I was not entirely sure myself what that was. Megan listened to what I said and then asked questions that helped her hone in on what I was looking for and she NAILED IT! I am sooooo in love with my color. "I am a client of Jen Wheat. I have always had a difficult time finding the right words explaining to designers what I've wanted my hair to look like. So as a result, most salons would fall short for me...even salons well-known to this area! Jen is so wonderful and truly listens to the desires of her clients. After she listens to my hair "wishes," she then confirms with me using the proper verbage (that I can understand) and draws off her professional background, giving me even better suggestions. She is able to educate me on new ideas and top-notch information on the health of my hair. The results are AMAZING and I find the products used at Balance Hair Spa are healthier. Healthier products and great results are #1 on my list! My coloring seems to look richer and more natural! I am always in awe of her ability to do this. Any business is only as good as its professional staff. "For all you ladies who are looking for a salon, this one has it all! I highly recommended Balance Hair Spa. My experience was wonderful from my first initial phone call to set up a consultation, until I walked out the door after my cut, color, and highlight. Everyone was friendly and made me feel like I was a long-time friend not a new client Dan did my hair and I must say I absolutely LOVE IT!!! He is not just someone who cuts hair with these cookie cutter styles, he truly is a professional hair designer and artist. At best he creates a style that fits you, not you fitting the style. "Trisa was wonderful! She really 'got' my hair and the challenges I was having with it. In one appointment she had my hair looking great and feeling more healthy than it has in years. I have a lot of thick, naturally wavy hair which has turned 'salt and pepper' through menopause. This has changed the texture and made my waves nearly impossible to work with. I made this first appointment thinking I needed a cut, but Trisa suggested giving the Deva Curl products a try first. After applying them and showing me how to coax and work with my waves, I did not even need a trim! I love my hair again and can achieve this look with ease and minimal time. I've already made my next appointment. Great experience!"

"Rich gave me the best massage I have ever had, and I get a lot of massages at various spas and massage therapy places. I require a lot of deep tissue work. Rich was very intuitive, making sure he applied the proper amount of pressure in order to relieve tension and remove knots. Because I required deeper work, he asked me to work with him throughout the massage with stretches and breathing. It was obvious he had some good training. This was my first massage with him and I have already told several of my friends. I would highly recommend him!"

"Last week was my first visit to the hair salon (I'd been previously for a massage), and Daniel was amazing. I'd initially come in for just a trim, but we got to talking and I think he sensed that I needed a change so he recommended an asymmetric cut. I was comfortable enough after talking to him for only five minutes to say, 'Go for it.' Dan dry cut my hair and worked with my naturally wavy curls instead of working against them. He is a genius. "Balance Hair Spa is Chester County's most awesome salon. They offer so many services, the atmosphere is relaxing and the design of the spa that makes you feel like you're on a mini vacation! Trisa did my color and cut yesterday. Too bad we didn't do before and after photos! She talked with me as to what I had in mind, we discussed options and off she went with her very talented color techniques. I was finished looking like I "pop" which is exactly what I wanted my color to do. My cut is exactly as the photo I wanted. Trisa takes into consideration your facial shape, how much you want to have to do on your own, your hair texture — everything a stylist should ask their customer even if you've been with them before. Kudos Trisa, I absolutely love my color/cut and my hair color does 'pop.' I'm so excited!"

"I have been getting rave reviews on this haircut. Dan has been cutting my hair for almost 12 years, and I always have a great cut, but some are fantastic. Popular opinion says that this is one of those cuts! I attended a family reunion last week, and I just received an email from my 77-year-old aunt who 'just wanted to tell (me) that this new haircut is fantastic!' I can't recall when she last emailed me, so she must have been VERY impressed. A friend once told me that 'hair is the ultimate accessory, it should always be fun'. Thankfully, Dan keeps my hair fun!"

"I am new to the Northeast and unfortunately, went to another facility that gave me a horrible cut and color. I was frantic to have this repaired, but did not know where I could go or who I could trust. So I jumped on Google and found Balance — their reviews were amazing so I booked an appointment. I was greeted with a beautiful spa-like atmosphere and happy employees. But it does not stop there. Holly put me at ease in the first few seconds I spoke with her. I had a hard time explaining what I wanted to be done to my hair because I was distraught over the horrible cut. Holly said, "I got it. I know exactly what you want." I put my trust in her and in one hour I had a beautiful color and the PERFECT hair cut! She read my mind and did exactly what I wanted. I will NEVER go to another salon. "Christi is awesome! My first Reiki session was amazing. I have been dealing with a very complicated and heartbreaking situation for about a year. I was in a very depressed state of mind and felt very helpless and lost. I already knew a little about Reiki, but had never gone to a session. Because of my situation, I needed some kind of non-biased guidance or relief from the negativity and darkness. I went to my appointment not really knowing what to expect. I didn't say very much before starting, I just wanted Christi to do her work and see what she had to say. Within minutes she was describing what she was seeing and it was like she knew that I had been very sad for a long time. You'll always read things about the heat and all I can do is confirm that once the energy is flowing — you can feel it. All of my energy was trapped in my chest and there was so much tension in my shoulders, where I tend to hold all of my stress. Christi was actually able to break through my trapped energy and spread it out to balance me. I could feel the energy finally move down the rest of my body. She was also able to clear the energy from around my neck to help me communicate my emotions better. When I got home I was able to come to a decision about the next step in my situation. I have been able to think more clearly and calmly. I feel emotionally stronger, less stressed, less frantic, and the tension in my shoulders is so minimal that I can actually relax. Reiki has given me the clarity and strength to do what is right for me. My sessions with Christi have been an inspiration. I feel like I am myself again. Thank you, Christi!"

"After my initial consultation with Trisa, I felt confident with her expertise and knowledge of both color and extensions and scheduled an appointment. I had concerns with my recently damaged, overprocessed and dried-out hair. Trisa introduced me to a sulphate-free line of products to improve the condition of my hair (which it did). I was also very anxious to get extensions, but concerned with having extensions that would look natural and blend with my naturally, very curly, often "fuzzy" hair. She recommended the Dream Catcher extensions, chose the exact type and texture for me, and then needed to bleach and dye to match my desired color. She did an incredible job! I am so thrilled with my new color, and the extensions are blending perfectly! She's also experienced with the Deva curl cut and gave me a great cut. I highly recommend her to anyone, especially to ladies with curly hair, as we often have trouble finding a stylist who can properly cut and style our hair. Trisa is amazing! Thank you so much!! "Heather was WONDERFUL!!!!! She got my hair exactly the way I wanted it to look! After chemotherapy, my visits to the hair salon have always been very disappointing. My hair color and texture changed, and my old stylist wasn't able to give me the look I wanted. I called for an appointment and lucked out by being one of Heather's clients. My hair looks great and I haven't felt so good in a long time. She fixed the color problems and my hair is bright, shiny and healthy-looking! The cut is amazing too. "I told Thomas that my hair loves to pull red and my highlights sometimes have a red tint, and I really wanted it be on the blond side for my sister’s wedding. He made sure the color was just what I wanted. I went to another hair salon with the wedding party for an updo and got a ton of complements from the stylists on my highlights. I also had a brow waxing from Siobhann who did a great job.
