Balance Hair Spa Team train with Ardell lashes

On Monday July 25th the Balance Hair Spa team were trained on how to use Ardell lashes. Ardell is one of the most widely recognized names in faux lashes by catering not just to women looking to enhance their own beauty, but also to legions of beauty professionals and Hollywood makeup artists. Our team of beauty professionals learned how to pick out a shape and trim lashes for every face and eye shape. They also trained on semi-permanent lash extensions which can last up to two weeks or longer.

Balance is pleased to offer Peter Coppola Keratin Smoothing Treatments

On Monday July 18th the Balance Hair Spa team of beauty professionals were trained on the Peter Coppola keratin smoothing treatment. what makes this treatment different than others is that it doesn't contains harsh chemicals like aldehydes as preservatives. Aldehydes are commonly used in keratin treatments as a preservative. People with allergies or health concerns are instructed to stay clear of aldehydes for their toxic fumes when used with flat irons. Peter Coppola keratin smoothing treatments are the safest we can find on the market. The results are longer lasting while still remaining safe for both stylists and client to use.      On Monday 25th our team of beauty professionals were host to educator, motivational speaker, business consultant, and life coach Geno Stampora. 
     Geno is one of only 21 other individuals to be inducted into the North American Hairstyling Awards Hall of Leaders. His positive energy and outlook on life is infectious. On Sunday April 24th our team of beauty professionals were honored to do hair and make up for Unite For Her's 2016 Bloom Fashion Show. This show featured women who are cancer survivors and their daughters as models for this amazing event. 
Unite for Her seeks to make a positive difference in the lives of women and girls by supporting and providing breast cancer programs and initiatives that educate, empower and restore.

Balance Hair Spa stylist Jen Sanchez has become a Wella Educator.

We are happy to announce that our Stylist Jen Sanchez has become a Wella Educator. This means that she will now represent Wella Professional color and teach stylist around our region the techniques and formulas it takes to accomplish hair color brilliance. Jen has worked very hard to accomplish this goal. She became a Master Color Expert last year and immediately began work on her presentation for Wella Educator. She auditioned earlier this year and was accepted as a Wella Educator within days of her audition. She will continue to offer the best color services to her clients and also offer the experience of a Master Color Expert. Next time you're in the salon feel free to ask Jen about this amazing accomplishment.

JEN & DARLENE ACCEPTING THEIR AWARD AND CERTIFICATION AT THE WELLA WORLD STUDIO NYC OCTOBER 8TH 2015

   Jen Sanchez and Darlene Firlein have completed a years worth of programs and education at the Wella World Studio in New York City. This is an extremely elite program that only a few hundred stylists worldwide have been able to complete. Even before entering this program stylist must first complete 5 years of courses that range from color formulation, color application, color foiling, color correction, and creative color. The Master Color Expert program requires stylists to explore psychology, hair diagnosis, chemistry, physics, and presentation skills. This is a highly prestigious achievement. Our team is thrilled to have such talented hair designers working with us. Jen & Darlene plan on sharing this knowledge with our team and in turn helping our clients have the best team of hair color experts around.

On Monday September 21st our designers Hope & Wendy attended the All Stars Hair Show in King Of Prussia. They attended a day filled with seminars and workshops featuring some of the industry leaders in the art of hair cutting styling and coloring.

Our stylists Keyana and Annie attended a 2 day editorial workshop this week with Tear Sheet. Tear Sheet is the industry's leader in producing top stylists who work with fashion designers, magazines, and photographers to produce photo worthy hair and make up for both runway and editorial work. Our stylists were able to put together several looks and have those looks photographed with a top photographer in the industry. They were able to work with the TearSheet team at learning how to put produce the best looks for any fashion magazine or show.

We are excited to announce that Balance Hair Spa has 2 more Deva Inspired stylists. On June 14th & 15th Whitney & John attended the Deva Curl Academy in New York. The two day classes covered all things related to curly hair. From cutting to color techniques that help to enhance your curls. Balance Hair Spa now has 11 Deva inspired stylists woking in our salons.
